Chicago Fire Summer Camps provide players and organizations the chance to celebrate soccer with professional coaches from Chicago Fire Soccer In The Community!
Serving players from 2-16 years, Chicago Fire Summer Camps offer recreational, competitive and elite players the ideal platform to learn and develop their talent in our fun and challenging camp environment.
Summer Camp Options:
Little Sparks (1 hour):
Little Sparks Summer Camps are the Fire’s introduction to soccer program for children aged from 2 to 5 years. Little Sparks Camps incorporate imaginative stories and the fun of play to develop motor skills and a love for the game of soccer!
Community (half and full day):
Community Camps are open to girls and boys of all ability between the ages of 6 and 16 years. Working in small groups with players of similar ages and ability, SITC coaches create scenarios and opportunities for players to develop both technically and creatively through guided discovery and small-sided games.
Team (half day):
Team Camps provide players with the opportunity to work on specific moments of the game with a professional coach from Chicago Fire Soccer In The Community. Working with a team, the camp will be tailored to their specific needs with the teams coach and club DOC.
SITC connects qualified, professional soccer coaches with youth soccer organizations to develop all aspect of their programming, both on and off the field.
Through the flexible, fixed-rate program, SITC coaches are able to conduct tailored training sessions to the players, whilst supporting volunteer coaches by providing consistent support through session plans and resources.
Chicago Fire Soccer Schools provide more opportunities to play the game!
Separate from the team training environment, the aim of Chicago Fire Soccer Schools is to focus on an individual’s technical development and their overall confidence when the ball is at their feet. Small class sizes help give the coach more contact time with the players as they adapt and master new concepts.
Soccer Schools incorporate a range of techniques to develop a player’s ability on the ball, including futsal and SAQ.
The aim of the Chicago Fire Community Ambassador is to provide free, year-round programming in partnership with local schools, clubs, organizations, leagues, YMCA’s, AYSO’s and Park Districts across the Midwest.
The Community Ambassador will be responsible for connecting with the local community to provide soccer education and resources for students/players, coaches, volunteers and board members within local soccer organizations and for Chicago Fire Soccer Club partners.
The program will include player, coach and parent workshops to enhance everyone’s experience of youth soccer. These workshops and events can be tailored to the individual needs of each organization, ensuring each community partner receives exactly the type of training they need.
